API Introduction

The UTA Authoritative Data service is an API that provides access to the authoritative data graph.

TODO: Document the GraphQL API

The original conception of the API was to provide a REST API over HTTP that would evolve independently of other APIs at UTA, yet be incorporated into UTA's emerging GraphQL infrastructure. The engineer team has elected to build all of the Authoritative Data APIs as a GraphQL API. The old docs are included in an archive folder in the repo, but are not accessible on the web site.
